Girl Scouts & Birthday Parties
Twin Oaks is proud to be an approved Girl Scout vendor and has had many Daisy, Brownie, and Junior troops visit the barn and earn their Horseback Riding Badge! We can also host birthday parties for your horse-crazy child.
We have a minimum of 6 children to do a private group event. Depending on the size of your group, we may do a 1 1/2 or 2 hour experience that includes grooming, tacking, a beginner riding lesson, and horse care activities.
Another option for groups, or if you have fewer than 6, are the Young Rider Camps. These are open for anyone to register, but we often have a Girl Scout troop or sets of friends reserve a chunk of space in the camp.
Scheduling and Payment
If you are interested in scheduling a Girl Scout Clinic or Birthday Party, please contact me to plan your event! We can discuss options and customization for your group.
The cost is $60 per child for up to 15 guests for a Scout or Birthday Clinic. We typically ask for 1/2 deposit to reserve your date, and full nonrefundable payment is due 3 weeks prior to your event.
If your group would like to participate in a Young Rider Camp, you may register each child individually online through the Horse Camps page or contact me to schedule a group.
